Residential & Light Commercial Concrete
East Aurora, NY · Serving Erie County

Liberty Pour Concrete is a family-owned concrete company working out of East Aurora, New York. Ed W. owns the company and Jim Clapp runs the projects — which means the person who walks your property and writes your estimate is the same person managing the crew on pour day. Between us we bring 7 years of concrete experience across the Southtowns, and we are licensed and insured on every job.

We concentrate on the ten miles south and east of Buffalo because we know that ground: the clay, the frost line, the drainage problems that show up in an East Aurora backyard after a wet spring. Concrete poured for a mild climate does not survive here. Ours is prepped, reinforced, and jointed for a region that freezes and thaws all winter and gets salted for five months a year.

Why Choose Us

Six Reasons to Choose Our
East Aurora Concrete Crew

Small Crew, Same Faces
The person who quotes your job is on site when it is poured. You are not handed off to a subcontractor you have never met, and you always know who to call.
Built for Buffalo Winters
Compacted base, correct thickness, proper reinforcement, and control joints cut at the right spacing. Freeze-thaw is what breaks concrete here, and we pour with that in mind from the first shovel.
Transparent Pricing
You get a written price after a free on-site visit. That is the number you pay — no surprise line items and no change orders invented halfway through the job.
Finish Work That Shows
Clean edges, tight joints, even colour, and a consistent finish. Anyone can get concrete on the ground; the difference is in how it looks at the edges when it cures.
Licensed & Insured
Fully licensed and insured, so your property and our crew are covered before anything is poured. Certificates available on request.
Local & Accountable
We live and work in the Southtowns. Our work sits on streets we drive every day, in front of neighbours we run into at the store — that is a stronger warranty than anything on paper.

Common Questions

Concrete Contractor FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about concrete work in East Aurora and around Erie County. If your question isn't here, call or text us directly at (716) 866-2481.

Who is the best concrete contractor in East Aurora NY?

Liberty Pour Concrete is a family-owned concrete contractor based right in East Aurora, NY, with 7 years of concrete experience serving the Buffalo Southtowns and all of Erie County. We pour concrete pool decks, stamped and stained patios, fire pits, driveways, sidewalks and walkways, and pads for buildings and pole barns. We are licensed and insured, we give free on-site estimates with a written price, and the same people who quote your job are the ones who pour it. Call or text (716) 866-2481.

How much does a concrete driveway cost in Erie County NY?

In the Buffalo area, a standard broom-finished concrete driveway generally runs about $8 to $14 per square foot installed, depending on thickness, reinforcement, base prep, and whether an old driveway has to come out. Stamped or decorative driveways typically run $14 to $22 per square foot. A common two-car driveway of roughly 600 square feet lands somewhere around $5,000 to $8,500. Removal of an existing slab usually adds $1.50 to $2.50 per square foot. Liberty Pour Concrete gives free written estimates so you know the real number for your driveway before anything starts.

Does Liberty Pour Concrete do stamped and stained concrete?

Yes. Stamped and stained concrete is one of our specialties. Liberty Pour Concrete installs stamped patios, pool decks, walkways, and feature areas in patterns that read like stone, slate, brick, or wood, finished with integral colour, stains, and antiquing, then sealed. Sealing matters more here than it does in warmer states — a properly sealed stamped surface holds its colour and resists the salt and freeze-thaw cycles that Western New York puts it through. We review pattern and colour samples with you during your free estimate.

What areas does Liberty Pour Concrete serve?

Liberty Pour Concrete is based in East Aurora and works throughout Erie County, New York, concentrating on the communities roughly ten miles south and east of Buffalo. That includes East Aurora, Orchard Park, Hamburg, West Seneca, Elma, Aurora, Boston, Colden, Holland, Wales, Marilla, Blasdell, Lackawanna, South Buffalo, Lancaster, Depew, Cheektowaga, Alden, Eden, and the surrounding Southtowns. We take projects across the rest of Erie County as well — call and we'll tell you straight away whether your address is in our range.

How thick should a concrete driveway be in Western New York?

For a residential driveway in Western New York, concrete should be poured at least 4 inches thick over a properly compacted gravel base, with wire mesh or rebar reinforcement. Where the driveway will carry heavier loads — trucks, trailers, RVs, or equipment — 5 to 6 inches with rebar is the right call. In this climate the base underneath matters as much as the slab itself: frost heave, not weight, is what breaks most Buffalo-area driveways. We compact the base, reinforce the pour, and cut control joints at the correct spacing so the slab cracks where we tell it to, not where it wants to.

How long before you can drive on a new concrete driveway?

New concrete usually handles foot traffic after 24 to 48 hours. Wait at least 7 days before driving passenger vehicles on it, and a full 28 days before parking anything heavy — trucks, RVs, trailers, or equipment. Concrete reaches roughly 70 percent of its strength in the first week and keeps curing for about a month. We leave clear curing and first-winter care instructions with every pour, including when it is safe to use de-icing salt (the short answer: not the first winter).

Do you pour concrete floors and pads for pole barns and metal buildings?

Yes. Pads and floors for pole barns, metal buildings, garages, sheds, and equipment are a big part of what Liberty Pour Concrete does. We handle the layout, base prep, thickened edges or footings where the building requires them, reinforcement, and a flat hard-troweled finish — including aprons and ramps at the doors. Whether we pour before or after the building goes up depends on your builder's schedule, and we'll coordinate with them directly.

When is the best time of year to pour concrete in Buffalo?

Roughly late April through early November is the comfortable window in Western New York, and mid-summer books up first. Cold-weather pours are absolutely possible — with heated blankets, mix adjustments, and protected curing — but they cost more and need more planning. If you want work done next season, the best move is to get on the schedule over the winter. Estimates are free year-round, so there is no penalty for calling in February about a June patio.
