A family-owned concrete crew based in East Aurora, New York — 7 years of experience pouring driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways, fire pits, and building pads across the Buffalo Southtowns and Erie County.
Liberty Pour Concrete is a family-owned concrete company working out of East Aurora, New York. Ed W. owns the company. Jim Clapp runs the projects — he is the one who walks your property, writes your estimate, and is on site when the trucks arrive. There is no call centre, no salesman who disappears after the deposit, and no crew you have never met showing up on pour day.
We built the business around the ten miles south and east of Buffalo on purpose. Working a tight radius means we know the ground: the clay under East Aurora and Elma, the frost line, the drainage problems that surface in a Southtowns backyard after a wet spring, and which town wants what for a sidewalk replacement. It also means we are ten minutes away when you call about something two years after the job, which is the part most contractors are not.
Between us we bring 7 years of concrete experience, all of it in Western New York. That matters more than it sounds. Concrete poured for a mild climate does not survive here — it gets frozen and thawed dozens of times a winter, buried under snow for months, and salted from November to April. Everything we do is built around that reality: air-entrained mix, correct thickness over a properly compacted base, wire or rebar reinforcement suited to the load, control joints cut at the right spacing, and proper curing before the slab ever sees a hard freeze.
You call or send the form. We come out — free, no obligation — and actually look at the site: grade, drainage, access for a truck, what is already there and why it failed if something did. Then you get a written, itemised price. Not a range scribbled on the back of a card, and not a number that grows once the excavator is running.
If you hire us, we tell you when we are coming and we show up. We protect what we are working around, we keep the site tidy, and when it is done we walk it with you and leave written curing and first-winter care instructions. The advice in those instructions — no de-icing salt the first season, sand for traction, keep the plow blade off the surface — is the difference between concrete that looks good for twenty years and concrete that scales in three.
We are a licensed and insured concrete contractor and we will hand you the certificates before we start if you ask. You should ask that of anyone who works on your property. Beyond the paperwork, though, the real accountability is that our work sits on streets we drive every day, in front of neighbours we see at the store. That is a stronger guarantee than anything printed on a contract.
We're a growing local company and our review profile is still filling in. We'd be honoured to earn your project — and your feedback.

Liberty Pour Concrete is owned by Ed W. and family-operated out of East Aurora, New York. Jim Clapp is our project manager and the person most customers deal with day to day — he walks your property, writes your estimate, and runs the crew on pour day. It is a deliberately small operation, which is why the person who quotes your job is the person standing on it.
We bring 7 years of concrete experience to every project — driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways, fire pits, and building pads across the Buffalo Southtowns and Erie County. That is hands-on time in this specific climate, on this specific clay, which matters more than years on a sign.
Yes. We are a licensed and insured concrete contractor. Certificates of insurance are available on request, and we are happy to provide them before work begins — you should ask that of any contractor you let onto your property.
